Active+ Milford - Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist required

We are seeking a New Zealand Registered physiotherapist to work flexible hours part time or full time, with interests and experience in manual therapy, exercise prescription, vocational rehabilitation and sports physiotherapy.

Active Plus Milford is a fully computerised practice, specialising in orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy. We have an on-site rehabilitation gym where we also run Pilates classes. We also work in multidisciplinary teams managing ACC vocational rehabilitation including stay at work and pain management programs.

Recent graduates will be considered, however you will be remunerated depending on experience and qualifications.

Active+ Milford - Occupational Therapist or Occupational Health Physiotherapist

Come and be part of a great team on the North Shore. Active+ holds a number of contracts with ACC, including training for independence, vocational health, pain and concussion services. We now need to recruit a highly motivated Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with Occupational Health experience to join our team on the North Shore of Auckland to deliver some or all of these services.

The Job: This is a mobile community role, working in a multidisciplinary team, with other allied health workers and medical specialists, assessing and managing ACC clients' return to work. You will also be involved with home visits, helping injured clients return to functional independence. There may also be involvement in clients with chronic pain. 

Skills and experience required:

  • An enthusiastic and fun team player, who can also work autonomously, with great attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The relevant tertiary qualifications (BHSc OT , BPhty etc)
  • Current registration with the NZ Board (e.g. OTBNZ, PNZ )
  • Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience/clinical background in: Community-based Rehabilitation and Vocational Rehabilitation or Musculo-skeletal. Preference will given for Post-graduate qualifications in Vocational Rehab services, and/or a proven record of relevant professional development in this scope of work.
  • A full clean NZ / Australian  Driver's Licence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. Active+ New Plymouth are seeking a full-time Physiotherapist

Active+ New Plymouth are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Physiotherapist to join our friendly team in the beautiful Taranaki region – voted second best region in the world by Lonely Planet! For those of you who enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, Taranaki is home to great surf, countless outdoor activities, wonderful gardens, and is sunny most of the time!

This full-time role is in an established practice that has been part of the New Plymouth community for 10 years. The role combines musculoskeletal and exercise rehab work working across a variety of ACC contracts. In addition, we provide some Occupational Health Services to local businesses including pre-employment screening and manual handling training. Any clinical Pilates training would be an added bonus but is not essential.

Active+ Bay Roskill - Part-time Physiotherapist (new grads welcome!)

Active+ Bay Roskill are seeking an enthusiastic Physio to join our friendly team. This role is a part-time role at present with the potential to become full-time. Active+ Whanganui/Palmerston North – Occupational Therapist / Occupational Health Nurse
