A Vocational Consultant role is now available within our Active+ Waikato team in the Lakes District.  We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced person who is keen to make an exciting career move to join our large and dynamic multidisciplinary team, as a contractor. The position is based in Rotorua and covers the Lakes district. This role covers a varied caseload of predominantly ACC contract. Active+ West Auckland - Full-time Occupational Therapists

The team from Active+ West Auckland is looking for Occupational Therapists. There are multiple positions available, and we are looking for fulltime staff. You will be working in the community across a range of ACC contracts including Pain, Vocational Rehab, Training for Independence and Concussion.

This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic and motivated team. The opportunities we are offering are to work autonomously in the community and we are advertising for more than one position. Our area includes the north-western end of the North Shore as well as West Auckland.

We are part of a larger company which has branches across the North Island and there is an emphasis put on personal development and training. Active+ Milford - Occupational Therapist for Vocational and Social Rehabilitation based in the community

The Job:

This is a mobile community role, working in a multidisciplinary team, with other allied health workers and medical specialists, covering a mixed case load to suit your areas of interest assessing and managing ACC clients return to functional, social or vocational independence.

We are looking for either full or part time (minimum of 25 hours pw). The role can be salaried or contractor.

  • Providing Clinical leadership to the occupational therapy team

  • Overseeing OT staff, including leave management, training, service standards

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced, New Zealand-registered Physiotherapist to work part time in our busy Orewa clinic. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing top quality healthcare to our community.

We offer a varied and interesting environment including an on-site rehabilitation gym, plus beautiful Orewa beach at your doorstep for functional training with clients. Within the broader group, you will be working with a team of highly experienced, post-graduate qualified physiotherapists, occupational therapists, health nurses, vocational consultants and psychologists.

Dependent on your skill level and interests, your role will cover a wide-ranging caseload including:

  • Clinic-based musculo-skeletal and sports management
  • Pilates 
  • Vocational rehabilitation, pain and concussion services
  • EPN contract as well as ACC services

 Potential of flexible hours for the right candidate. In addition, you will be required to work some Saturday mornings (9am to 12 noon) on a rostered basis. You will need your own reliable vehicle, but you will be reimbursed for mileage as appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Possess relevant qualifications and already be a NZ-registered Physiotherapist with a current practicing certificate
  • Hold a full, NZ driver’s license
  • Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
  • Be capable of working autonomously and being flexible to meet the varying needs of our clients
  • Have advanced interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Possess a naturally engaging personality and client-centric focus
