Active+ Pukekohe is located in Pukekohe’s busy town centre and provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to clients from the local and surrounding areas with a range of injuries. We have a part-time position for an occupational therapist or rehabilitation nurse available to deliver ACC funded concussion services in our region.

We are looking for an individual with:

• determination to offer high quality care to clients with a range of injuries
• a person who also wants some variety in their work
• good time management and organisational skills
• ideally some previous experience in delivering rehabilitation to clients with concussion injuries, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
• at least 2 years experience

Duties and Responsibilities

This role is very flexible and generally will involve provision of comprehensive care to clients who are trying to regain independence following injury alongside a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, OT's, psychologists and medical specialists. The role would initially be for 0.4FTE with room for growth if the successful candidate desires and the demand is there. We are open to hiring an individual who would prefer to be a contractor.
