About

Laura graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2014 and has worked in musculoskeletal private practice since. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture in 2016, and since has used her acupuncture skills in collaboration with manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation to effectively treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Laura has a keen interest in injuries & dysfunctions of the lower-limb, running injuries, exercise-based rehabilitation, and long-term injury prevention. Laura has gained valuable experience working with numerous sports teams, including Premier Rugby Union and Rugby League teams. Laura has also recently completed the PINC Cancer Rehabilitation Certification Course in 2018 allowing her to collaboratively work alongside women affected by cancer at any stage or age to regain independence and quality of life. Alongside her passion for her work, Laura also loves living a balanced lifestyle, filling her spare time with surfing, running, and wakeboarding.

My Goals

  • To continue my professional development in a broad range of physiotherapy areas particularly in dealing with vocational rehab patients.
  • To continue to travel and maintain my work life balance through my sport
