You may not have known that ACC made significant changes to its way of funding Vocational Rehabilitation Services 18 months ago. Those changes meant that allied health practitioners could share access to ACC funding and work together to assist patients back to health; something the Active Physio Group has always strongly advocated in private practice.
For the first time, healthcare practices such as ours had public funding to deliver comprehensive, cross-speciality, recovery programmes for patients. Programmes which have shown vastly improved health outcomes for our clients.
So here’s the great news. On the back of our success, we have secured a number of additional contracts which allow us to provide even more collaborative healthcare services in the wider community.
You’ll see the list of contracts below, but what this means for you is that we now have greater access through ACC to tailor a cross-speciality recovery programme for you. And because we’re leaders in collaborative healthcare provision, you can have confidence that whether your treatment is private or funded, you will enjoy the highest possible standards of care.
You’ll be dealing with the same people and the same excellent facilities. But from now on we’ll be offering more… more services, greater access to funding and the best available allied healthcare support - for a speedier return to health.
To reflect this, we’re also changing our name. Active Physio is now Active+, because we offer more.
If you have any questions about these changes, just get in touch. We’re looking forward to being able to work even more closely together.
