As Auckland prepares to move down Covid-19 alert levels to Level 2 at midnight on Sunday 30th of August, our clinicians will once again be able to offer face-to-face consultations in most cases, with telehealth still being available for those that require or prefer those method of healthcare.

To be able to see you face to face at Level 2 and keep you, our team and our communities safe and well, we have re-implemented a range of processes for our Auckland services that have already been operating through the rest of the country for the last few weeks. Our clinics and facilities have a number of processes tha they are required to follow to ensure we are following best practice, including contact tracing, physical distancing, and hygiene and cleanliness procedures. As a client, we will ask you a series of screening questions to ensure it is safe for us to see you face to face. For those that are unwell, have had recent exposure to Covid-19 or are considered at high risk, we can still see you through our telehealth methods. Please ensure your contact details are up to date and let your clinician know if they have changed, so we are able to contact you if need be for contact tracing. We will also need to ask you for the contact details of any support people you bring with you to your appointment, or are with you at home when we visit. If we see you in the community such as your home or place of work, our team will also follow processes to keep your and their health and safety a priority.

With the move to Level 3 in Auckland, and Level 2 outside of Auckland, we will have to re-instate some changes to the way we are able to operate.

Level 3: Auckland services

As we move into COVID-19 Alert Level 3 in Auckland, the majority of services that Active+ provide in Auckland will be done using Telehealth (video consultations) whenever possible, and phone consultations in some case. We have had great success with this service, and encourage you to continue your rehab by this means while we are in Level 3.

Level 2: Services outside Auckland

At Level 2, we are able to see you face to face or can utilise telehealth if required. To be able to see you face to face and keep you, our team and our communities safe and well, we have implemented a range of processes. Our clinics and facilities have a number of processes that they are required to follow to ensure physical distancing, hygiene and cleanliness, and the wellness of our staff.

We would like to thank you for your support and understanding over the next few days and will update you once we know more about the change in alert levels.

Be kind, and stay safe everyone, kia kaha.
