On the 8th day of Kirihimete, Active+ gave to me… a mindful colouring page to help breathe more freely!
When people think of colouring books they typically think of children, however mindful colouring has become a popular way for focussing the mind, relaxing and reducing stress for adults and teens. It induces the same state as meditating by reducing the thoughts of a restless mind - and actually works both sides of the brain!
To give you some relaxation moments in the lead up to Christmas, we’ve pulled together a mindful colouring page for you to print and take some time out. That's not to say it can't be printed off as a colouring challenge for the younger kiddies too!
