Personal Training

Keeping you fit for life

At Active+, we believe that an important part of our clients’ rehabilitation model is personal training. Once clients finish with their Physiotherapist, they are often left to their own devices to continue in a gym setting, with a personal trainer who may have had no contact with their Physiotherapist.

Our Personal Trainers (PTs) work alongside our Physios assisting and collaborating on exercise programmes and classes to work with our clients to achieve a seamless return to wellness.

As part of your programme, you will receive a full assessment with your PT and liaison with your Physiotherapist to set goals and plan what will work for your health and injury treatment needs.

Ongoing physical training sessions can be booked to suit the individual with the aim to push you to achieve your goals and continually progress without getting bored or giving up because you are not seeing results.

Who might need a Personal Trainer?

Personal training is for anyone who wants to achieve goals when it comes to fitness. If you don't train well alone, get bored of single work-outs or classes or just need that extra motivational push, then a Personal Trainer can help.

How our Personal Trainers work

Your wellbeing is at the heart of everything our PTs do, working with you one-on-one in the gym, supervising and supporting you. We provide tailored and individual exercise programmes which are suitable for people recovering from injury or illness. These programmes are not available through traditional gyms or physiotherapy clinics, and are specific to each client.

Our PTs and Physios provide you with achievable goals and motivation to ensure your safe return to exercise, sport and wellness.

What are the benefits of having a Personal Trainer?

Our Personal Trainers are here to help you achieve your goals. These may be gained in different ways, from understanding nutrition, to how your body works, from fitness levels, to getting you back to moving comfortably again, and lastly to make a new you.

At Active+, we set a realistic time line to help you achieve your goals. Whatever your goal is, will determine the length of time that you need with a Trainer. We make the session achievable for the time limit you are available, from 45 minutes to 1 hour sessions. We can meet you at the gym, at your workplace or out and about.
