About

Jan is a Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist who became interested in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and neurological conditions when she worked in the Neurosurgical Unit at Auckland Hospital as a graduate nurse. Her interest grew and over the years she has been responsible for designing and growing many of the TBI rehabilitation programmes in the Auckland Area. Jan has also been involved in programme design with ACC Category Managers. In 2001 Jan with Penny McGarry RN established Integrated Partners in Health (IPH) which became the largest provider of Concussion and Training for Independence services in the country. IPH was sold in 2015 and since September 2017 Jan has been contracting to Active+. Part of her role is to provide clinical management at a National level and since January 2018 Jan has been providing Clinical Management to the Albany franchise.
