Active+ South Auckland has a part time or contracting position available from March 2026 working alongside our practice owner and multidisciplinary team. You would be working with clients across the greater South Auckland region from Manukau to Te Kauwhata.

About the role

This position would suit an occupational therapist who wants to work part-time or contract to our organisation.  We aim to provide our staff with maximum flexibility in their roles including selecting the hours that suit your lifestyle as we understand work-life balance is important.

The role would involve assessment and treatment of clients:

- with persistent pain conditions on the ACC Pain Management Service contract

- with mild to moderate traumatic brain injury on the ACC Concussion Service contract

- who need support with making a return to work after injury on the ACC Stay at work contract

- who have been referred for social rehab needs assessments

We work closely with physiotherapists, psychologists and dieticians onsite as well as with medical specialists, speech language therapists and social workers to provide comprehensive care to clients who are trying to regain independence following injury.

To be successful you will need:

-  determination to offer high quality care to our clients

-  at minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a relevant role

-  a fun personality to work alongside our energetic and friendly team

-  good time management and organisational skills

-  a valid NZ work visa

-  a current NZ annual practicing certificate
