Active+ Counties is based in the centre of Papakura, Auckland within a busy accident and medical centre. We are part of the Active+ group, who provide interdisciplinary injury management and musculoskeletal rehabilitation for clients with a wide range of needs. We have an occupational therapy position available from March 2024.

We are looking for an individual with:

- determination to offer high quality occupational therapy

- a fun personality who will enjoy working with our energetic and friendly team

- good time management and organisational skills

- an interest in delivering community-based occupational therapy rehabilitation to our diverse client population

Duties and Responsibilities

This role is variable and can include all of the following depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications and interests:

- Assessment and Treatment of clients who have sustained concussion injuries

- Social Rehabilitation Needs Assessments

- Assessment and Treatment of clients who have suffered orthopaedic injuries and who have persistent pain limiting their function

- Vocational rehabilitation: assisting clients achieving a return to work in their pre-injury role.

The hours for the role are flexible and there is considerable variety in your work. Contractors welcome to apply. At least two 2 years post-graduate experience is preferred, although new graduates will be considered. A current annual practicing certificate is required.
