About Active+ Mt Eden

Active+ Mt Eden is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. Situated at the base of Maungawhau (Mount Eden) we are close to public transport and in an exciting central location. We have a part time position (15 – 20 hours) available, however will consider a contractor with the right skill set. The hours of work are flexible to suit your lifestyle – work around school drop off and pick up!

About the role

This role will focus on private workplace wellness, ACC Rehabilitation Contracts such as Training for Independence and Stay at Work, with the ability to work across other contracts (Concussion, Pain Management etc) if you possess the necessary skills or have an interest in developing expertise in those areas. You will be working alongside a close-knit team of Physiotherapists, another Occupational Therapist, and superstar administrators.

To be successful you will need:

• The ability work well in a team
• A positive and friendly nature
• Confidence in working with clients in a community setting
• An interest in vocational rehabilitation and workplace wellness
• At least 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Current New Zealand Practicing Certificate
• NZ residency of valid NZ work permit
• Current NZ driver’s license
• Experience working with ACC Rehabilitation contracts is a must for this role
