Active+ Pukekohe is part of the Active+ group, which provide interdisciplinary injury management and musculoskeletal rehabilitation for clients with a wide range of needs. We have a full or part time occupational therapy position available.

About the role

This role is variable and can include all of the following (depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications and interests):

• Vocational rehabilitation assisting a wide range of clientele to return to work.
• Assessment and Treatment of clients who have sustained concussion injuries.
• Social Rehabilitation Needs Assessments.
• Assessment and Treatment of clients who have suffered orthopaedic injuries and who have persistent pain limiting their function.

The hours for the role are flexible and there is considerable variety in the work. Laptop and mobile phone provided, as well as funding for professional development plus coverage of the cost of your annual practicing certificate and OTBNZ membership.

To be successful you will need:

• At least two 2 years post-graduate clinical experience is preferred.
• A current annual practicing certificate.
• A full drivers licence.
• Determination to offer high quality occupational therapy.
• A fun personality who will enjoy working with an energetic and friendly team.
• Organised and good with time management.
• Interested in delivering community-based occupational therapy rehabilitation to a diverse client population.
