About Active+ Marton

Marton is a small town, with a big heart! It is close to larger towns and only a 2 hour drive from Wellington! Marton is a place where you would quickly become known in the community. Forget the big city commute, in Marton you could easily walk to work! Marton is close to ski fields, scenic walks, rivers and the sea. You will have your choice of adventure activities! Our Marton clinic is one of four clinics in the Manawatu / Whanganui region. We are a social and active group!

This role is in a community based clinic, with a large rehabilitation gym. Our clinic is the sole clinic in this community, and as such is a hive of activity. We work closely with the Active Plus wider IDT and local health medical professionals, who all support our clients in and around our community. This clinic has several other senior Physiotherapists on site and awesome administration support.

About the role

We currently have a Physiotherapist role available in our Marton clinic.

To be successful you will need:

• Confidence in delivering evidence-based management of musculoskeletal injuries and manual therapy.
• Excellent time and organisational skills and able to structure innovative and client centred approaches for your patients to the highest standards.
• Enjoy a wide range of clients from acute management through the rehabilitation pathway.
• Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Psychologists within our wider Active+ network.
• To be a qualified and NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a current annual practicing certificate.
• Hold a full NZ Drivers Licence.
• Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
