About the role

Active+ Warkworth is based in the Warkworth Health Centre, with a modern clinic very conveniently situated for clients from the wider Warkworth region between the North Shore of Auckland and Wellsford. We are a proactive clinic with a vision of excellent and holistic healthcare, and we pride ourselves in supporting our community groups and local sports teams. As a growing practice in a fast-growing part of the sunny north we now have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our team.

Be a key member of a motivated team, providing top quality healthcare to our community; and work alongside Occupational Therapists and other health professionals to get the best outcomes for all of our clients.

We are looking for between 30 and 40 hours per week and those hours are deliberately flexible to suit your lifestyle and work life balance.

New grads welcome to apply – full support and ongoing training will be provided.

To be successful you will need:

• Confidence in delivering evidence-based management of musculoskeletal injuries and manual therapy.
• Excellent time and organisational skills and able to structure innovative and client centred approaches for your patients to the highest standards.
• Enjoy a wide range of clients from acute management through the rehabilitation pathway.
• Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Psychologists within our wider Active+ network.
• To be a qualified and NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a current annual practicing certificate.
• Hold a full NZ Drivers Licence.
• Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
