Active+ Albany - Neuro Physio Clinic
Karan graduated from AUT in 2012. He has recently moved back to Auckland after spending the past nine years in Melbourne. For the past decade he has worked in a variety of clinical settings especially in private practice and community. Karan is passionate about working in the Neurological rehabilitation sector - to help individuals become stronger and independent in their own home and community settings. So much so, that he has decided to go back to study and complete a Post Graduate certificate in Health Science specialising in Neurorehabilitation. Karan is experienced in delivering neurological rehabilitation as an accredited PD Warrior and MS Get a Head Start provider. He has a particularly keen interest for working with patients with Parkinson’s disease. Personally, Karan and his wife have had their first baby in July 2022 and are excited to welcome the joy and challenges of parenthood. Outside of work he enjoys being out in nature on a long hike, reading a book, or listening to a podcast.

We are seeing clients face to face. Our cleaning controls and risk management protocols are strict but if you prefer not to be seen in the clinic we are able to provide a Telehealth Service.
So how does this Telehealth thing work?
There is a lot your clinician is able to assess via a secure webcam meeting – either on Zoom or possibly a different platform. They can advise you on how to deal with your condition and provide an ongoing exercise programme.
