Sarah Reeder


Sarah graduated from the University of Southampton in 2009. She completed a wide range of rotations at a large central London hospital before specialising in neurological physiotherapy. Prior to moving to New Zealand, she spent time as a senior physiotherapist at the top rated Hyper Actute Stroke Unit and comprehensive stroke unit in England.

Sarah moved to New Zealand in 2013 and has been working in community neurological rehabilitation since this point. She has gained specialised experience in many neurological areas including traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, MS, Parkinson’s Disease, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. She has worked closely with both ACC and private patients, creating individualised and goal driven rehabilitation programmes to improve functional independence. Sarah loves developing strong therapeutic relationships with her clients, to ensure that rehabilitation will be fun, purposeful and effective.

Sarah is an LSVT trained clinician for Parkinson’s treatment. She is also experienced with Functional Electrical Stimulation Foot Drop devices including Bioness L300, MyGait and XFT.

When not at work, Sarah loves spending time outdoors with her family.
