About

Jacob graduated from Auckland University of Technology in December 2021. After having his second placement here and enjoying it so much he decided to become a part of our team. Jacob had further placements at the Auckland Spinal Unit and Orthopaedic Wards at Middlemore Hospital. Jacob is interested in all areas of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, but has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation. Outside of Physiotherapy Jacob enjoys playing touch, going to the gym and all water-based activities.

Jacob was awarded the 2021 Iti Kahurangi Prize for best Māori Student at AUT from the School of Physiotherapy.

My Goals

• To continue to grow and learn new skills as a physiotherapist
• To look into post graduate study within a few years
• To start coaching touch for youth within Counties
