About

A career practitioner with over 15 years experience, Helen works with a wide range of people: high school students, women returning to work, trades people, government employees, beneficiaries and ACC clients. Helen is a creative, lateral thinker who assists clients to generate realistic career possibilities and to make the decisions that are right for them.

Helen has qualified and worked as a librarian, teacher and career counsellor and has built a portfolio style career, also working as a freelance journalist for 15 plus years. Recently Helen graduated from a 400 hour training in Hakomi therapy, which is a mindfulness, somatically based approach to therapy and personal development.

Helen is currently a trainee in the Conversational Model of psychotherapy through the Australia New Zealand Association of Psychotherapy.
