Active+ South Auckland have a position available from May 2026 for an occupational therapist wanting to work as a contractor alongside our multidisciplinary team in the South Auckland region.

About the role

This position would suit an occupational therapist who wants to work part time or full time as a contractor.  The role would involve assessment and treatment of clients with mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries under the ACC Concussion Service contract.

We work closely with psychologists, physiotherapists, medical specialists and speech language therapists to provide comprehensive care to clients who are trying to regain independence following concussion injury.

To be successful you will need:

• Determination to offer high quality care to our clients
• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience as an occupational therapist (essential) preferably having worked with clients who have mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries previously
• A fun personality to work alongside our energetic and friendly team
• Good time management and organisational skills
• A valid NZ work visa
• A current NZ annual practicing certificate
