We are looking for occupational therapists to join our team at Active+ South Auckland as contractors!  

About the role

Active+ South Auckland cares for clients with injuries across the South Auckland region from Manukau to Te Kauwhata. We have a wide variety of work on offer so you will be able to work in an area where your passion lies be it in concussion rehabilitation, return-to-work programmes, pain management or in home rehabilitation. We work closely with psychologists, dieticians, medical specialists, speech language therapists and social workers to provide comprehensive care to clients who are trying to regain independence following injury.

 Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual community rehabilitation programmes focussed on regaining independence and function
• Deliver home and community-based functional rehabilitation
• Collaborate and in some cases coordinate the wider multi-disciplinary team

 About you

• Determination to offer high quality care to clients
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Minimum of two years post-graduate experience
• Previous experience working across ACC rehabilitation contracts or transferable skills
• Valid NZ work visa (no sponsorship available)
• Current NZ annual practicing certificate
