Active+ Counties is based in the centre of Papakura, Auckland within a busy accident and medical centre and due to one of our valued staff heading off on his OE, we have a physiotherapy position available from August 2026 working alongside our practice owner and multidisciplinary team.

About the role

This position would suit a physiotherapist who wants to work part-time or full-time. We have a wide variety of work on offer so you will be able to work in an area where your passion lies whether it is sports physiotherapy, Pilates teaching, concussion management, older adults rehabilitation or persistent pain management to name a few of the areas our team works across. We aim to provide our staff with maximum flexibility in their roles including selecting the hours that suit your lifestyle as we value work-life balance.

We work closely with psychologists and dieticians onsite and we also work with medical specialists, speech language therapists and social workers to provide comprehensive care to clients who are trying to regain independence following injury.

To be successful you will need:

• Determination to offer high quality physiotherapy to our clients
• A passion for musculoskeletal therapy but also keen to have variety in your work
• A fun personality to work alongside our energetic and friendly team
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Minimum of two years post-graduate experience
• Previous experience working across ACC rehabilitation contracts
• A valid NZ work visa (no sponsorship available)
• A current NZ annual practicing certificate
