We have Vocational Consultant roles available within our Active+ Waikato team now. We are looking for dynamic, motivated, and experienced Vocational Consultants who are keen to make an exciting career move to join our large and dynamic multidisciplinary team, as contractors. The positions can be based in Hamilton, the lower Waikato, Taupo or Rotorua.

Our ideal applicant(s) will demonstrate that they are clinically strong in a client centered interdisciplinary model, whilst also efficient, I.T. savvy and able to meet deadlines.

Active+ Waikato provides a supportive and widely varied environment to grow and use your skills. You will be working within a large team of highly experienced, post graduate qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Vocational Consultants, and others.  Dependent on your skills and interests, your role will cover a wide-ranging caseload of vocational rehabilitation, vocational assessments and job seeking.

This a highly desirable position for any Vocational Consultant looking to maintain a work/life balance through the flexibility which Contracting allows.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit, a current membership or associate membership to CDANZ, and a current NZ driver's license.  A tertiary level qualification in a field related to vocational rehabilitation is a must, this could include Graduate Certificate or NZ Diploma in Career Development or if you have a relevant University Degree and are happy to be working towards a post-graduate certificate in vocational rehabilitation, we would love to hear from you!

Preference given for experience in ACC Contracts and training will be provided to the successful applicant.
