Pilates Classes: Taught by Physiotherapists and trained Polestar Pilates Instructors, Clinical Pilates is progressive exercise training that develops core strength and postural control. Your body will feel younger and more energized. It improves long-standing back and neck pain. Pilates also enhances sporting performance and develops good postural alignment that feels natural and looks great. It can help to improve long standing spinal pain and muscle balance issues and can be done at any age.
Beginners Pilates: Six-week Course - pre-book and pay for the full block – no experience necessary and also ideal if you are keen to go back to the basics of Mat Pilates
One-on-One Pilates: 30 minutes or one-hour sessions with a physio – this is essential if you want to book into a Studio Pilates group or you can continue one-on-one if you prefer
Mat Classes: 50 Minutes of Pilates taught in our exercise studio. Exercises are done on the floor and may use equipment such as foam rollers, magic circles and elastic for resistance. Suitable for all levels – we suggest you do a Beginner’s Course First
Studio Pilates: One hour of Pilates, using the Pilates machines and equipment. These classes are individually tailored to your needs, and with a maximum of 4 participants allow for personalised prescription and coaching of exercises. These classes are fantastic for recovering from injuries, or working towards specific goals. You will need some one-on-one sessions first so the Physio can tailor a programme to suit your needs.
Active Pilates: This popular class includes half an hour of circuit work to improve your cardio-vascular fitness, followed by 15 minutes of mat Pilates and stretching
Small Group: You can organise a group (of up to 4) to join you in a Studio Pilates Group
Online Pilates: You can order a weekly online class (a new link each week which lasts a week) to be done in your own time at home. This class follows the Mat Class Format
Yoga: Our Yoga is aimed at all levels and is suitable for anyone rehabilitating from an injury or just looking to move and stretch. Ariel likes to incorporate a bit of strengthening work along with her flow

There are many specialist providers that offer additional support for you and your family members following a diagnosis of cancer.
Our cancer rehabilitation physiotherapists, and lymphoedema therapists have undertaken additional training; they are certified to provide individualised care to these specific populations.
Remember your health insurance provider may include cover for physiotherapy or oncology massage services, also we accept Under the Canopy vouchers as provided by Canopy Cancer Care.
These services may be useful to you, you can ask your therapist for more information or check the websites provided in the link below:
This is different to providing massage alone. Certified Lymphoedema therapists are trained to assess the body site that has the issue and to identify other factors that may be contributing to your lymphoedema. This includes incorporating self-management strategies such as exercise, skin care, and what type of compression would best suit the affected area, we can also refer to nutritionists and counsellors to help you regain control and make lifestyle changes. We assist you in preventing and managing exacerbations, along with communicating with the other members of your health care team, including your GP, nurse specialist, oncologist, and surgeon to ensure your treatment is both safe and effective.
