Yoga - 6 week block for new clients ($96.00) and concession available for regulars

Ariel

Pilates Classes: Taught by Physiotherapists and trained Polestar Pilates Instructors, Clinical Pilates is progressive exercise training that develops core strength and postural control.  Your body will feel younger and more energized.  It improves long-standing back and neck pain.  Pilates also enhances sporting performance and develops good postural alignment that feels natural and looks great. It can help to improve long standing spinal pain and muscle balance issues and can be done at any age.

Classes available:

Beginners Pilates: Six-week Course - pre-book and pay for the full block – no experience necessary and also ideal if you are keen to go back to the basics of Mat Pilates

One-on-One Pilates: 30 minutes or one-hour sessions with a physio – this is essential if you want to book into a Studio Pilates group or you can continue one-on-one if you prefer

Mat Classes: 50 Minutes of Pilates taught in our exercise studio.  Exercises are done on the floor and may use equipment such as foam rollers, magic circles and elastic for resistance.  Suitable for all levels – we suggest you do a Beginner’s Course First

Express Pilates: A 30-minute mat class taught in our exercise studio. Ideal if you are pressed for time.

Studio Pilates: One hour of Pilates, using the Pilates machines and equipment.  These classes are individually tailored to your needs, and with a maximum of 7 participants allow for personalised prescription and coaching of exercises.  These classes are fantastic for recovering from injuries, or working towards specific goals. You will need some one-on-one sessions first so the Physio can tailor a programme to suit your needs.

Small Group: You can organise a group (of up to 4) to join you in a Studio Pilates Group

Yoga: Our Yoga is aimed at all levels and is suitable for anyone rehabilitating from an injury or just looking to move and stretch. Ariel likes to incorporate a bit of strengthening work along with her flow

Neuro Class Descriptions:

Get Steady: The perfect balance class for those wanting to improve their balance and reduce their risk of falls. This group class covers the key areas connected to balance, including strengthening, proprioception, vision and vestibular training. Ideal to keep you nimble on your feet.

Stride Out: An intensive, high level, gait training class. Based on the principles of driving neuroplastic change. The class covers high level balance retraining, strengthening, flexibility, reaction speed and dual tasking. We make the most of the specialised rehab equipment to keep the classes fun and challenging. Designed to reflect the demands of real world living and to create energy efficient mobility.

MS Keeping Ahead: A graduate programme for those who have attended MS Get a  Head Start (watch out for our next course) for those with MS who want to keep up a regular exercise programme. Built on the same philosophy, this is a circuit-based interval programme targeting those key areas for optimal mobility.

PD Power Hour: A class for those with a Parkinson's diagnosis, this class is a neuro protective, evidence-based exercise class for not only managing, but improving and slowing down the effects of Parkinsons Disease. This class incorporates both physical and cognitive activity for people in the early stages of the disease. Utilising the 7 key principles of exercise for Parkinsons, including large amplitude and power work, as well as creativity and dual task training.
