About

Tom moved to New Zealand in 2016 from the UK after first visiting the country during his teenage to play rugby. Since then he has trained to become a Physiotherapist at Birmingham University. Since graduating in 2010 he has completed all core disciplines and spent 3 years at St George's University Hospital major trauma centre in central London.  During this time he conpleted specific Musculoskeletal and orthopeadic rotations. Tom has special interest in post-op recovery, biomechanics and movement analysis and has experience working directly with a foot and ankle surgeon privately in the UK. Tom has also completed two post graduate MSc modules and aims to complete this in the coming years.
Tom is passionate about pilates, strength/conditioning and overall wellbeing. His interests now involve the outdoors; He is a keen surfer and mountain biker. He also has experience in the boxing ring although now he only uses this for fitness generally sticks to the safer option of golf.
