Senior Physiotherapist
About
Katie is originally from Essex, England. She graduated in 2016 with a BSc in Sports Therapy before completing her MSc in Physiotherapy in 2019.
Katie has gained a wide range of experience working across various sporting environments and events, including the London Marathon, London Broncos, and England Women's 7s. From September 2014 to December 2019, she also worked with Brentwood Rugby Club, gaining valuable experience in the assessment and management of sporting injuries. Throughout her career, Katie has continued to develop her skills through additional training, including rugby-specific courses, intermediate care, suturing and gluing, and dry needling.
Since 2022, Katie has also worked with people living with and recovering from cancer. After completing the PINC & STEEL programme, she has enjoyed supporting individuals throughout their cancer treatment and rehabilitation, helping them build confidence, regain strength, and achieve their personal goals.
Katie takes a holistic and individualised approach to rehabilitation, combining education, dry needling, manual therapy, and exercise prescription to support patients in their recovery and help them return to the activities that are important to them.
Outside of work, Katie loves getting out into the great outdoors, enjoying long walks and exploring the beautiful natural landscapes and wonders that New Zealand has to offer with her family.
