About

I graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2005, receiving the Bank of New Zealand scholarship for academic achievement, community involvement and leadership. Further to my graduation I have gained valuable experience in a variety of physiotherapy clinical areas. My rotational experience has equipped me with skills in rehabilitation, neurology, orthopaedics and cardio-respiratory, enabling me to work with a wide variety of patient groups. As a paediatric physiotherapist I have experience in both the public as well as the private sector, working in the community with children and youth (aged 0 to 18). I have gained significant skills in neurological and musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, gait analysis, developmental assessments, exercise prescription and post operative rehabilitation, including use of gymnasiums and pools. Working in a musculoskeletal private practice I expanded on my experience by assessing and treating clients with acute, sub–acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. I am excited to work at Active Plus across the rehabilitation contracts including neurological rehabilation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, concussion and paediatrics.
