About

Elmarie graduated from AUT in 2005, receiving the Bank of New Zealand scholarship for academic achievement, community involvement and leadership.

Elmarie has a very wide range of clinical skills, with experience in rehabilitation, neurology, orthopaedics, cardio-respiratory, musculoskeletal, and paediatrics.

Elmarie has completed Vestibular Rehabilitation and Watson Headache Management training, which enables her to help concussion clients through their rehabilitation journey. She has significant skills in neurological and musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, gait analysis, developmental assessments, exercise prescription and post operative rehabilitation, including use of gymnasiums and pools. Working in a musculoskeletal private practice she has expanded her knowledge of assessing and treating clients with acute, sub–acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Elmarie has Paediatric therapy experience within both the public and private sector, working in the community with children and youth (aged 0 to 18). 

In her spare time Elmarie loves spending time with her family in the great outdoors!
