About

April graduated from AUT in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. During her placements as a student, she experienced work in a fast-paced hospital setting as well as a slow-streamed rehabilitation service in South Auckland. She has a passion to help people gain back their confidence and independence in the activities they want, need, and are required to achieve. In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with family and friends whether that be going to the gym, having a karaoke session, or trying new places to eat.

My Goals

• To continue developing my knowledge of the occupational therapy role in a community setting
• To work towards post-graduate studies in Mental Health
