Kimberley Jones
Occupational Therapist

Kimberley completed a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from Otago Polytechnic (with Merit).  In her studies she had the opportunity to gain experience in hospital, community and school settings implementing an Occupational focus.  Her interests within Vocational rehabilitation services are Stay at work programmes and the opportunities to meet a wide range of people.  Kimberley's passion in occupational therapy is to work with children in the community.

In her previous life, she has a trade certificate in Hairdressing and owned/operated two salons around the north island before being drawn to a new passion of OT. She has played netball all of my life achieving representative netball to National level.

She is born and bred locally and lives with her husband, 7 year old daughter and 2 year old son.  She enjoys visiting Waihi beach, spending time with family and friends, music and getting on the netball court when she can.

My Goals

  • Work out the secret to work/life/family balance
  • Immerse myself further into my Maori heritage
