About

Ariana Gomez graduated from West Virginia University in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance and Health. Since then, she has gained extensive experience across the United States working in community health, inpatient rehabilitation, and paediatrics.

Ariana is excited to now call New Zealand home and to join the knowledgeable Active+ team at our Ellerslie clinic. She has a passion for helping clients regain independence, return to the workforce, and re-engage in meaningful daily activities.

Outside of work, Ariana enjoys outdoor adventures and values the balance of relaxation and mindfulness in nature. Her clinical interests include neurological rehabilitation, strength and balance training, vocational rehabilitation, and paediatrics.

My Goals

Work Goal:
To further expand her understanding of ACC standards in order to best support and empower individuals to stay at work following physical injuries and/or concussions.

Personal Goal:
To learn a new water sport, become more involved in community events, and explore the country through travel in her free time.
