Amara Evans

About

Born and raised in Auckland, completing a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) in 2007.

I have worked in Health and Safety positions at NZ Refinery and across mine sites in Australia, providing Injury Prevention and Management services and onsite workplace risk assessments.

Furthermore I provided contractual services to the Australian Government, assessing those on a range of benefits and identifying barriers to their employment and implementing rehabilitation recommendations.

Upon returning back to NZ I specialised in Vocational Rehabilitation Services with additional Training for Independence and Pain Management Services.

I provide support to NZ Police to return to work after injuries as well as support clients with MSK, concussion and PTSD to regain independence.

I understand the challenges of working with injured clients and their whanau and I am here to support and navigate those challenges while monitoring and actively addressing rehabilitation needs. I am here to walk alongside you in your rehabilitation and return to mahi as you need.
