PILATES 

Pilates is a form of strength and flexibility training that can be done by someone at any level of fitness. Movements are taught with an emphasis on the core principles of breathing, control, relaxation, centering, flow, precision and alignment. Pilates is designed to promote a feeling of physical and mental well-being and also develops inner physical awareness. Pilates is also helpful in preventing and rehabilitating injuries, improving posture, and increasing flexibility, circulation, and balance.

Classes at Active+ Palmerston North are taught by qualified physiotherapists. This allows for greater modification of the Pilates exercises to suit your level of skill, personal exercise goals and injury-related restrictions, ensuring that you get the most out of each class.

Classes are $12 per session.
