About our Practice

We are situated between Fortus Safety and Swish Car Wash on Tremaine Avenue in Palmerston North. We offer our clients expert physio treatment in our new purpose built building, hosting a gym, modern consultation rooms and a pilates studio. We have easy parking at the front of the building.

We’re excited to announce the opening of our Paediatric Allied Health Clinic — a dedicated space for children, young people, and their whānau to access the care and support they need to thrive.

Childhood is a time of rapid growth and change. From motor skills and communication to emotional wellbeing and learning, the journey through development is unique for every tamariki. That’s why our clinic brings together a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals to provide integrated, whānau-centred care right here in the heart of the Manawatū to help our tamariki flourish.

We all want those who are close to us to succeed, but sometimes it can be hard to figure out what is making that difficult and what to do to help.  Our friendly team is here to support you and your whānau to do just that.

Our mission is to provide our tamariki and their whānau with the skills, tools and practical strategies to make day-to-day life achievable and enjoyable. We can do this by:

• Identifying and responding early to developmental concerns
• Undertaking formalised assessments to support diagnosis or further communications with the medical profession
• Coordinating care plans that address physical, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Empowering whānau with practical tools and guidance
• Providing individual therapy and rehabilitation, group sessions, and a holistic, play-based approach
• Working closely with schools, GPs, and community services for better outcomes

At Active+ Palmerston North, our child-friendly environment is designed to put tamariki at ease while they grow their skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential. From helping pēpi with motor milestones to supporting rangatahi with emotional regulation or communication needs, we’re here every step of the way. No referral is necessary.
