About

Solet obtained her BSc Physiotherapy degree in South Africa in 2017. For 5 years after graduation, she treated both in-hospital and outpatients ranging from respiratory conditions, post-cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedic patients, musculoskeletal problems and paediatric developmental delays. Solet moved to New Zealand at the end of August 2022 and joined the Active Plus team.

Solet enjoys seeing a variety of patients requiring input across many different areas of physiotherapy and makes the most of gathering as many skills as she can. Since commencing at Active Plus her initial focus has been orthopaedic patients, sport injuries and musculoskeletal problems.

In recent years Solet's case load has shifted to include chronic pain, concussion and vertigo patients. These new fields provide good diversity to her case load and progressing skill sets.

My Goals

I would love to train in Acupuncture. As I am already using dry needling techniques, I believe this will be a good asset to add to my treatments.
