Kate Spencer

About

Kate graduated from the University of Otago in 2019 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Kate has also completed Vestibular Physiotherapy training, Level 1 and 2 Matwork Pilates certification through APPI and PD Warrior Training. 

Kate spent the first few years of her career working at Palmerston North Hospital as a Rotational Physiotherapist, gaining a broad range of experience across core areas of Physiotherapy. Kate then spent two years working overseas in the United Kingdom, gaining further experience, largely in Stroke Rehabilitation. 

Kate moved home from the United Kingdom in 2025 and joined the Community Rehabilitation team at Active+.

Kate has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and looks forward to helping people regain their function and independence in their home and wider community.
