About

Rachel graduated from Otago Polytechnic in 2008 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Merit and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Allied Mental Health in 2009.

With experience across inpatient and community settings, as well as roles within the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, private practice and ACC, Rachel brings a broad range of experience to her work. She is passionate about providing high-quality Occupational Therapy across the lifespan, with a particular focus on Tamariki and their whānau.

Rachel leads the Paediatric Occupational Therapy services at Active Plus, supporting the team to provide thoughtful, practical and high-quality care for children and young people. She continues to work clinically alongside her leadership role, with expertise in complex assessment and helping families understand the supports and strategies that will make the biggest difference in everyday life.
