Sam moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2008. Prior to the move, some of her roles included being the Occupational Health and Welfare Manager for a Police Force, an Occupational Health Nurse for the NHS, and she also provided Occupational Health Services for smaller businesses in the UK. Before working with Active+, Sam worked as an Occupational Health Nurse for the RNZAF at Ohakea.

The best thing about work for Sam, is seeing her clients being able to return to work following injury or illness.

Outside of work, Sam loves living at the beach and most days she can be found walkng her dog along the shore. She enjoys reading (especially crime novels), fine tuning her cooking & baking skills, and watching a variety of sports.
