About

Maria Graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2012 after completing her studies at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Maria worked at the Child Development Service at the hospital after she graduated and continued to work at the hospital in various Occupational Therapy and management roles until August 2024.

Although Maria has mostly worked with children, she is loving working with adults and seniors and loves the variety of work at Active Plus.

Maria comes from a large family and has four beautiful children. Her hobbies mostly include mum-related activities such as attending swimming and netball, being a school helper and following her kids' interests. Maria enjoys baking, exercising and most of all, travelling.

My Goals

The goal I am always aiming to achieve is maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and let's say that it's definitely "in progress".

I also always try to recruit people to become Occupational Therapists as it's truly the most rewarding job in the world!
